The 16th Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS 2010) will be held on August 12th to 15th, 2010 in Lima, Peru at the Lima Swissotel in the district of San Isidro. AMCIS is the premier North & South American conference for IS/IT professors who teach primarily in Colleges and Schools of Business. We expect to attract about 700 scholars and practitioners to attend AMCIS 2010. Research papers, panels, workshops, tutorials covering the latest and most important issues in Information Systems and Technologies, will be presented by leading academicians and practitioners at the conference.
AMCIS is organized by the Association for Information Systems (visit AIS at http://www.aisnet.org). AIS is a leading professional organization for IS/IT educators with more than 3000 members internationally. The mission of AIS is to advance knowledge in the use of information technology to improve organizational performance and individual quality of life.
